Montana Horowitz, Esq.


Montana Horowitz is an Associate at The Donnelly Law Firm, where she assists clients who have been seriously injured as a result of someone else’s negligence.

Since joining The Donnelly Law Firm in 2017, Montana has worked on a variety of personal injury matters and assisted Dennis Donnelly in several large medical malpractice trials.

The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40Montana was named 2018 Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers.

Education & Early Experience

Montana graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University before attending Rutgers School of Law, Newark, where she participated in the Special Education Law Clinic representing underprivileged children with special needs. While in law school, Montana had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at both the appellate and trial levels, interning with Chief Justice Stuart J. Rabner and the Honorable Vincent Le Blon, a busy civil judge handling medical malpractice, insurance coverage, and personal injury disputes. Upon graduating cum laude, she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, a prestigious society for law students at the top of their class.

Following graduation from law school, Montana returned for a clerkship under her mentor, Judge Le Blon, during which she drafted a legal opinion that was published by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Prior to joining The Donnelly Law Firm, Montana practiced insurance defense, medical malpractice, and civil litigation, handling complex cases on a day-to-day basis and preparing them for trial.

Community Involvement

In both her career and personal life, Montana has dedicated her time to advocating for those in need. Montana volunteers throughout the year with the Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey, a non-profit support group established to assist families of children and adults with Trisomy 21, and donates her time at her local food pantry and community farmers market.

Montana is licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
